Course Overview

This course introduces students to essential English terminology used across several technical fields, including Information Technology, Programming, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Graphic Design, Occupational Health and Safety, Renewable Energy, Sustainability, and Mathematics. It helps learners understand technical vocabulary and apply it in practical and professional contexts.

Course Goal

The course aims to develop students’ ability to understand, translate, classify, and correctly use technical terms in different fields. It also enhances learners’ communication skills by enabling them to use professional terminology in reports, workplace discussions, interviews, and technical documentation.

Course Description

This course provides a practical introduction to more than 100 technical terms commonly used in modern industries. Students will explore key concepts in programming, information technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, graphic design, occupational health and safety, renewable energy, sustainability, and mathematics. The course focuses on understanding definitions, distinguishing between similar concepts, translating terminology between English and Arabic, and applying technical vocabulary in real-world situations. Through examples and exercises, learners will gain confidence in using professional terminology accurately and effectively.
